Season 1

In season one Walter goes on a ride along with his brother in-law and DEA agent Hank Schrader and bumps into former student Jesse Pinkman after finding out he has cancer Walter seeks Jesse Pinkman and offers to start cooking crystal meth with him after a successful cook Jesse brings associate and criminal Krazy-8 to the desert to try Walters product which turns into Jesse getting knocked out and Walt killing his cousin Emilio and knocking out krazy-8 throughout the next couple of episodes Walt has to decide if he should kill Krazy-8 or not which eventually happens when Krazy-8 attempts to kill Walter with a shard from a plate after these events Walter stops cooking meth and Jesse attempts to cook alone after being offered money for his treatment by an old friend Walters ego kicks in and he begins cooking meth again with him cooking and Jesse distributing this is when they run into the issue of not having enough man power to sell and become under the employment of Tuco Salamanca who offers to distribute for them the season ends with Tuco threatening Walt and Jesse and them fearing there lives

Season 2

Season 2 begins where season 1 finished Walt and Jesse fear for their lives as Tuco begins stalking and threatening them with his body guards, He then kidnaps Walt and Jesse and brings them to a shack in the desert with his uncle Hector Salamanca who is disabled and can only communicate through a bell. Walt and Jesse attempt to poison Tuco Which results in him attacking Jesse and bringing him outside with a  gun to his head during this fight walt manages to disarm and Jesse manages to take his pistol from him and shoot Tuco in the chest minutes later Walters brother  in-law Hank appears and shoots Tuco killing him and Walt and Jesse run away. To cover up his disappearance Walt fakes having amnesia from his cancer and is hospitalised. Jesse employees a couple of his close friends to start disrupting Walt’s product. One of theses distributors gets caught by an undercover police officer and hires Saul Goodman to be his attorney Walter meets with Saul and threatens him to protect his name when Saul brings up the idea of hiring a man to stand in for Walt and pretend to be him after this Saul tracks down Walt to his work place and mentions how easy it was to find him and that if he wants to keep his money and not go to jail to call him. Jesses friend and disruptor combo gets shot and Jesse gets heavy into drugs and meets his next door neighbour jane who gets him hooked on Heroin. Saul helps Walter gain a proper disruptor but Jesse ruins the meeting by being high later on the disruptor agrees to meet Walt and this turns out to be the owner of Fried chicken restaurant Gustavo Fring who is  using his business as a scapegoat to sell meth. Walt is undergoing surgery for his cancer and while under the influence anaesthetic reveals he has a second mobile phone

Season 3

Season 3 starts with Tuco Salamanca’s cousins blowing up a supply truck filled with supplies and heading towards new Mexico to get revenge of Walter. Walt and his wife Skyler file for divorce and Jesse comes out of rehab changed by janes death. Walt is offered 3 million for 3 months of making meth for Gustavo Fring. Walt begins making Walt with a person called Gale in Gus’s superlab but Gale is later fired because Walt prefers Jesse as an assistant. The cousins attempt to kill Walt after he breaks into his own house but Gus texts them and later explains he can not kill Walter White but he can kill his brother in-law in the DEA. Hank discovers the RV and pursues all the RV’s in new Mexico so Walt has it destroyed which results in Hank beating up Jesse. An anonymous call warns Hank about the cousins but a gun fight transpires in a Car park Hank is shot multiple times but manages to fight off the cousins resulting in one dying and the other losing his legs and later dying in hospital. Skyler finds out about Walt’s career and gets more involved purchasing a car wash with the help of Saul to launder money. Jesse gets frustrated with Gus using children to sell drugs and seeks out two of Gus’s dealers when Walt intervenes and runs over both of them. This infuriates Gus who re hires Gale and hunts Jesse down. Jesse kills Gale to save his and Walt’s life and that’s where season 3 ends.

Season 4

Season 4 begins where season 3 left off. The whole season is similar to a chess match between Walt and Gus each trying to one up the other with Gus being one step ahead of Walter. Hank begins investigating Gale’s murder thinking It will be linked to Heisenberg and finds a message to W.W and jokes to Walt about it being him. Hank finds Gus’s finger prints at the crime scene and begins questioning but Gus leaves free. Gus takes down the entire Mexican cartel and Skyler gives Walt’s money to a man she’s cheating on to save him from the IRS. Gus takes Walt out to the entire and claims he will kill his family this panics Walt who runs to Saul asking him to disappear. Walter then goes home to gather the money and finds out Skyler gave it to dead, Walt then lets out a scream. Walt begins planning ways to kill Gus and plants a pipe bomb under his car which Gus gets a bad feeling about and walks away out of ideas, he meets Jesse in the hospital and Jesse explains how he visits Hector Salamanca at his retirement home to taunt him about the cartel. Walt meets with Hector and explains I know you hate but Hector agrees as his hate for Gus is larger. Hector visits the DEA knowing Gus will be watching and later Gus visits him to inject him with a poison unknown to Gus Hector has a bomb strapt to his chair and begins ringing his bell making Gus scream. The shot cuts to the explosion and we see Gus unharmed until the camera pans showing half of his head blown off as his falls to the floor. Walter calls Skyler and simply says “I won”

Season 5A

-Season 5 of breaking was different too the rest of the series as it features 16 episodes opposed to the previous 3 seasons having 13 and wasn’t released in one year instead split into 5A which aired in 2012 and 5B which aired in 2013 it also concludes the series

Season 5 begins with a worn rugged Walt buying a large machine gun one year into the future it then cuts back to the present returning home and hiding the ricin he stole from Jesse. Walt, Jesse and Mike realise that the police have seized Gus’s Laptop and other incriminating evidence and that they must destroy it immediately they figure out the idea that magnets will work and park a large truck next to the evidence room which contains a large amount of magnets which pulls the laptop and other evidence to wall destroying it. The company Gus’s fried chicken brand was under was also linked with his crimes and the CEO commits suicide Lydia Quayle was also a higher up in said company is worried she may be compromised and asks Mike to eliminate the 11 men in jail linked with Gus. Mike declines and Lydia attempts have him killed but fails. He then decides to allow her to join Walt’s drug empire. With the help of Saul Goodman and decide to start cooking using a company called Vamonos pest control and begin cook in customers houses and then the rest of the pet control team do the actual work. Hank is promoted within the DEA and begins questioning the prisoners linked with Gus’s empire. Lydia’s methylamine (an ingredient in Walt’s recipe is found to have a GPS tracker on it. Mike kidnaps Lydia thinking the GPS was her idea to be set free from the criminal world. They decide to let Lydia live and plan a train heist that is carrying a large supply of methylamine the heist is successful until a young boy see’s everything he is then shot by Todd Alquist who was working for Walt. The DEA begin to tracks Mike down both Jesse and Mike plan to leave the criminal world, They plan to sell their share of the methylamine to a buyer names Declan Walt refuses so Mike locks him up. Walt escapes and takes the methylamine He gives Mike and Jesse the option to with production as he wants and at the same time they can leave the business proclaiming “everyone wins” Walt negotiates a deal with Declan. Mike meets with Walt in the desert to set things up before he leaves New Mexico, Before he leaves Walt asks for a the name of Gus’s name employees in prison Mike refuses telling Walt bad things have happened Walt shoots Mike regretting the decision realising Lydia had the names. After gaining the names Walt hires Todd’s uncles gang who are white supremacist to use their connections to take the nine remaining former employees of Gus who are in Prison. Lydia begins using the brands under the Madrigal company to ship Walt’s product to the Czech Republic. Months go by and everything seems fine until a family gathering Mike uses the Bathroom and finds Gail’s book remembering the conversation between Walt and him he connects the dots and realises Walter White is Heisenberg.
